"It was with regret that I read about Bill Cash's misuse of the expenses to provide his daughter with rent for staying at her flat. It is sad that a long serving MP has undermined his position by exploiting the expenses claims system and I am not at all surprised at the anger felt by many Stone constituents" said Christine Tinker .

Liz Lynne, the Liberal Democrat MEP for the Black Country and the West Midlands, last week addressed a meeting of the Black Country Fibromyalgia Support Group. Liz spoke to the group about her work as an MEP and to discuss what more could be done to raise awareness of Fibromyalgia following the adoption of a written declaration on this issue by the European Parliament earlier this year.

West Midlands LibDem MEP Liz Lynne has today welcomed a vote by the European Parliament to extend the 'European Globalisation Adjustment Fund' which would allow European Governments to apply for millions of pounds in funding to help retrain workers made redundant due to the financial crisis.
